THOMAS GUASTAVINO (Archie Beaton) is a local music educator whose previous Shedd roles include Vittorio Vidal in Sweet Charity, Rooster in Annie and Smokey in Damn Yankees. He teaches and directs music and theatre at the Academy of Arts and Academics in Springfield and with The Shedd’s Harburg and Vaudeville musical theatre programs for youth. He is grateful for being part of the local theatre community as well as this temporary fictional community in the Scottish land of Brigadoon. Notable past vocal performances include the Bach Coffee Canata, a tour of Spain with UO Chamber Choir, performing Joby Talbot’s “Path of Miracles” and other choral selections and the St. Matthew Passion in the Oregon Bach Festival. He will next be performing in AND directing the following musical here titled Paint Your Wagon and is excited for you to come see it later this year!
